We are Looking for: Someone who is an experienced Medical Assistant for a multispecialty medical practice. The medical assistant should perform a supportive role in delivering comprehensive care to the patient that is safe, effective, and efficient. Responsibilities: Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures Perform allergy skin testing and document results accurately Administer allergy injections (immunotherapy) in accordance with protocols Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies Provide patient education on allergy treatments and medications Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Follow all infection control and HIPAA guidelines Performs related duties as required. Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant will support providers by rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting during examinations and procedures. They are also responsible for performing allergy skin testing, administering immunotherapy injections, and maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR.
