As a Fron Desk Receptionist / Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by running Realtime Eligibility, Communicate Insurance Co-payments and Deductibles, preparing charts and placing notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside of medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time, and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. You will also help manage the inventory of medical supplies, set up machines and test equipment, and clean instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate with strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about the medical environment, and experience in a Medical Office. Responsibilities Prepare for the patient visit, including Checking Insurance information, pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment Clean instruments and equipment after use Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, finding visit needs Assist Providers with basic medical care and procedures Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and manage medical office duties Qualifications BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired Excellent customer service skills Good diligence and integrity.
