Position Summary We are actively recruiting for a highly skilled Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to join our growing team at Georgia Center for Sight Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will be a team player, hard-working professional, have great communication skills, is able to multitask, work diligently under pressure, detail oriented, and have leadership qualities. Responsibilities Perform patient intake for laser procedures (VS, review medical history, start drop regimen) Assist Doctor with laser procedures Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner. Create and update patient charts and records ensuring accuracy and validity of information. Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues. Maintain trusting relationships with the doctor, patients, and colleagues. Perform receptionist and front office duties to provide relief when needed. Clean the exam room and OR bays, such as disinfecting the surgical tools, changing the linen, wiping down equipment, etc. Cleaning and disinfecting communal areas such as the waiting room and break room Monitor supply levels and handle shortages.
