Description University Foot and Ankle Institute is well known as one of the most technologically advanced foot and ankle practices in the nation. Based in Santa Monica, we have 6 convenient locations throughout Los Angeles County. University Foot and Ankle is looking for a Patient Services Coordinator to answer a high volume of calls, provide excellent customer service, and provide support to the practices. Duties and Responsibilities Answers a high volume of calls and schedules appointments for all patients with a high degree of accuracy Communicates clearly on the phone and accurately documents and assigns messages Confirms and updates contact information for all patients at every contact Makes follow-up calls for any messages left Documents appointment visit status, including rescheduled, cancelled, confirmed, left voice message, or any other status appropriately Delivers all communications with excellent customer service Be courteous and professional for all patient interactions Routes calls to appropriate staff for swift resolution Requirements Strong computer skills, including basic keyboarding skills Ability to navigate through patient records systems Ability to analyze situations, prioritize, develop solutions, and make recommendations Ability to work with minimal supervision Excellent customer service and communication skills over the telephone Ability to community sensitively and effectively with patients Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Knowledge of medical practice terminology Education and Experience Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience in fast paced scheduling or call center 1+ years of customer service experience Experience working with performance metrics Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Benefits of Working with University Foot and Ankle Institute Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans HSA with Employer Contribution FSA Generous PTO Program 401k with a 3% Match Employee Assistance Program Life and AD&D Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability To find out more, visit https://www.footankleinstitute.com/
