ABOUT THE ROLE: Provide professional nursing care for office patients following established policies and procedures. FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: * Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards. * Performs certain lab tests. * Takes and records patients vital signs, immunization status, and brief history. * Maintains patient confidentiality. * Cleans and autoclaves procedural equipment and instruments. * Observes records and reports to physician patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments, according to the nursing process. * Oversees appointment scheduling, assures priority is given to patients in emergency situations.
