Medical Assistant - Korean Speaking ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Documents patient communication and clinical treatments accurately and appropriately within the EMR. * Obtains vital signs, performs assessments and rooms patients. * Performs or assist physician to perform exams, tests and procedures as ordered by the physician such as EKGs, and phlebotomy, including venipunctures and fingerstick. * Prepares and administers oral and parenteral medications and immunizations as directed and supervised by the physician and/or RN. * Receives, organizes, scans, faxes and encounters documents into EMR. * Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Excellent customer service skills for both inter and intra departments. * Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. * Fluent in Korean EXPERIENCE * One to two years of experience in a clinical setting as a Medical Assistant. * Proficient computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR). * Experience in an oncology and/or imaging/radiology setting helpful. Responsibilities
