Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our busy Cardiology team. This position is essential to maintaining smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care, particularly during a period of staff transition. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical and organizational skills, with a preference for prior cardiology or phlebotomy experience. Requirements Conduct patient intake, including history, vitals, and medication reconciliation. Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture for diagnostic testing. Assist with and run cardiology stress tests under physician supervision. Prepare exam rooms and support smooth patient flow. Maintain supply and medication inventory for the cardiology department. Complete charting and documentation in the EMR. Provide direct assistance to the physician as needed during patient care. Required Qualifications & Skills Medical Assistant certification or nursing diploma preferred. Prior cardiology or phlebotomy experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in patient intake, vitals, blood draws, and diagnostic test assistance. Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment. Bilingual skills (Mandarin/Fuzhounese/English) are a plus. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $23/hour plus benefits.
