Description At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in areas of practice from cardiology to podiatry. We also offer unique services like our nuclear stress testing facility. Our physicians, specialists and credentialed health care providers are assisted by 175 trained support staff. We do our best to take care of everything for our patients – records, scheduling appointments, coordinating with providers and specialists, and each of our offices has laboratory centers for tests and blood work on site. We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our Cardiology Team! Our ideal candidate will work primarily at our Towson office (515 Fairmount Avenue) and must be willing to travel to our office in Pikesville (Woodholme Medical Building) on Mondays. Schedule: Full Time / 40.0 hours per week Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm The Medical Assistant will work closely with one of our Cardiologists / Physician Assistant within a team environment. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families. The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of services up to and including: Assistance during exams Recording a patient history and logging vital signs. Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results Entering lab / diagnostic test orders Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed. Requirements · High School Diploma or G.E.D. · Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program. · Excellent patient care and customer service skills. **Candidates selected for an interview will be required to take a medical skill assessment.
