Job Details Job Location: FAMILY MEDICINE OF CLOVERDALE - CLOVERDALE, IN 46120 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Job Summary: We are currently seeking a friendly, patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant for our busy family practice in Cloverdale, Indiana. Must be willing to work front and back office. This position is full-time, benefits eligible working 4 days per week. Clinic Hours are 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Electronic Medical Records (EPIC) Insurance, recertification and authorizations Triage of telephone calls and scheduling Rooming patients and taking medical history Updating Medications Phlebotomy and giving injections Obtaining prior authorizations Assisting with Procedures Working directly with a Physician and/or Physician Assistant Qualifications Job Requirements HS Graduate or Equivalent Must be highly motivated, upbeat, organized, responsible, dependable, and have good follow-through. Friendly, professional demeanor and appearance Must be a team player and share the workload Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task well Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Flexibility and willingness to assist in any aspect of clinical operations Attention to detail Must maintain patient and practice confidentiality Must be reliable and punctual Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn current electronic medical record (Allscripts, EPIC) Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurances
Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant will work in both front and back office settings, assisting with patient care and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include managing electronic medical records, triaging calls, rooming patients, and assisting with procedures.
