The Medical Assistant plays a vital role on our healthcare team, providing both administrative and clinical support to ensure smooth operations and quality patient care. They will provide direct, compassionate and professional medical care to patients at our Clinic 3 and assist in all aspects of medical practice under the supervision of a medical provider.

• Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records or inputs information to patients’ medical records.
• Administers immunizations.
• May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Participates in frequent interaction with patients regarding all levels of concerns and questions.
• Keeps up-to-date on public health policies and procedures.
