We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists from cardiology to podiatry. We have served the community for over 50 years. We are seeking to hire an experienced Certified Medical Assistant for our office in Towson located at 515 Fairmount Avenue, Towson, MD 21286. Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm - 37.5 - 40.0 hours / week Our ideal candidate must be willing to work in a fast paced, team environment and provide excellent care and service to our patients. Specialty Medicine experience of 1-2 years is required. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families. The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of services up to and including: · Assistance during routine exams · Recording patient history and logging vital signs. · Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results · Entering lab / diagnostic test orders · Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging · Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed. Requirements · High School Diploma or G.E.D. · Current registration / certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program. · Internal Medicine / Primary Care (Required) · Excellent patient care and customer service skills. · Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently multitask and stay organized · Proficiency in EHR / computer skills (Nextgen is a plus); CRISP; Cover My Meds · Candidates selected for an interview will be required to take a medical skill assessment.
