Medical Assistant Location: Oak Brook Terrace, IL Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour About the Role: Join our dedicated physician group in providing meaningful, high-quality care to patients in a supportive outpatient clinic setting. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to work collaboratively with our physicians and nurse practitioners, serving as a vital part of our clinical team. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive clinical tasks including taking patient histories, vital signs, and documenting in the EMR. Assist physicians during examinations, testing, and procedures. Administer medications and immunizations. Conduct phlebotomy and basic laboratory tests. Manage administrative duties such as scheduling, billing support, phone calls, and faxing. Maintain patient records, stock exam rooms, and ensure a clean, prepared clinical environment. Provide excellent patient education and communication. Required Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program. Current BLS Certification. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience with: EMR/EHR systems Taking vital signs Phlebotomy Strong knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent bedside manner and communication skills. Ability to travel to our Oakbrook Terrace, IL location.
