Cornerstone Pediatrics is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team! This new team member will interact directly with our patients and their families to help provide quality patient care. They will serve as a smiling face to help make our patient's experience most enjoyable! The ideal person for this type of role is energetic, a good listener, outgoing and compassionate, organized, adaptable and an excellent problem solver. This vital role greets our patients, displays professionalism, and maintains confidentiality at all times. Responsibilities: Provide patient-care services– Greet & interact with patients by obtaining vitals, acquiring pertinent history and prepping patients for their appointments. Perform supportive procedures – Perform procedures such as immunizations/injections, capillary/venipuncture sample collection, hearing & vision screenings, urinalysis, strep/flu/covid testing, etc. Other duties: – Phone triage & patient care coordination Requirements: Medical assisting program graduate Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment Multi-tasker Previous pediatric clinical experience is required About Cornerstone Pediatrics: We are a small but fast-paced pediatric practice that prides ourselves on serving our patients and families with the utmost professionalism and care.
