Job Summary:  CT Orthopaedics is seeking a Clinical MA. This position provides direct support to the physician and clinical teams in a given location. Responsibilities include but are not limited to casting, dressing application and removal, DME, rooming patients, patient intake, exam room stocking and cleaning and scheduling.  Essential Responsibilities:  * Cast application and removal. * Applying and removing wound dressings based on provider preferences. * Participating in staple and suture removal * Fitting patients with durable medical equipment and braces appropriately and completing billing paperwork accurately * Rooming patients and completing appropriate intake documentation * Drawing up and setting up injections/ultrasound per provider's protocol * Maintaining a clean and stocked exam room. * Entering orders for x-ray * Assisting with appointment scheduling for follow up appointments. * Assisting with clinical workflow throughout the clinics Education & Experience Requirements: * Certified as a Medical Assistant * High school Diploma or equivalent (GED) required * 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred * Experience in an Orthopaedic practice preferred Location & Schedule * Shelton, CT * Monday – Friday 8am-5pm   What we offer:  * Competitive salary, 401(k) contributions, and company-paid life insurance. * Generous PTO and paid holidays to promote work-life balance. * Access to training and development opportunities and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)  * Uniform allowance * Free Parking Connecticut Orthopaedics (CO) has been serving patients in the greater New Haven area for over 60 years.
