Curalta Foot + Ankle, LLC is a fast-growing Podiatry practice that values an "Above & Beyond" approach to patient service. We are seeking a team player who will make a positive impact in patients' lives through providing excellent customer service while administrating the office and assisting the doctor to provide clinical care.     This opportunity is for a Full Time Medical Assistant in our Tinton Falls, NJ location. The ideal candidate will be available to work in other offices, as necessary.   The schedule for this role is: Every other Monday 10:30AM - 5:30PM Tuesday 9:00AM-5:30PM Wednesday 11:00AM-7:30PM Thursday 9:00AM-5:30PM   Summary: The Medical Assistant is a team player who makes a positive impact in patients' lives through providing excellent customer service while preparing patients for their treatment and assisting the doctor in providing clinical care. Essential Functions, Job Duties & Responsibilities: * Greeting and accompanying patients to examination room * ModMed EMR - Clinical entries * Prepare and maintain treatment rooms * Obtain patient medical history, medication and immunization records * Maintain patient confidentiality, abiding by all HIPAA and OSHA requirements * Prepare and assist with procedures and treatments as necessary * Perform sterilization techniques * Perform an inventory of supplies and equipment, replacing as needed * Work collaboratively with other employees to achieve specific team goals * Any additional duties necessary to run office efficiently Education & Experience: * Medical Assistant Certification preferred * Medical / Clinical experience preferred * Knowledge of EMR computerized processes and data entry procedures Skills and Abilities: * Positive attitude, trustworthy, accountable, responsible, must be a team player, self-motivated and customer-focused Physical Requirements: * Stand, walk and be able to maneuver in small areas * Possess gross and fine motor skills * Occasionally sit, bend or kneel * Must be able to lift up or move 15 pounds at time   * New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted, depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.   * This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the employer. * The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable the employee with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position, absent undue hardship.
