We have an immediate need for a dependable, skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our medical team as a Medical Assistant in Greenwood Village, CO. This role involves providing both administrative assistance and clinical support. Website: Capitol Pain Institute Responsibilities Prepare patients for examination, escort them to the treatment room and be present during examination/treatment to assist the physician in treatment procedures. Measures, collects and records patient's vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height). Interviews patients and records or inputs information to patients' medical record. Collects all medical data to help the physician's ability to draw conclusions about the patient's needs. Ensure all charts and forms for the office visit are ready for the provider. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Cleans rooms after procedures, cleans and disinfects equipment, restocks supplies. Monitor patients’ recovery process, inform the provider of observations, and recommend changes in unresponsive treatment techniques. Maintain communication with patients after treatment to monitor their progress and suggest continuous treatment in the event of a relapse. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing workflows and procedures. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and always maintain patient confidentiality. Assist in keeping clinic orderly and follows appropriate cleaning protocols. Performs other duties as assigned to support the mission, values, and strategies of CPIhealth. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required. Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required. At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and healthcare documentation standards. Strong commitment to patient service with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as eClinicalWorks. Accurate and efficient typing, spelling, and data entry skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Ability to exhibit core values (Honesty, Respect, Teamwork, Professionalism, Confidentiality, Quality of Care) and regularly encourage others to do the same.
