Our Core Values are: Grow Together Seize Opportunity from Struggle Outcome Over Ego Commitment to Serve Do The Right Thing What your responsibilities will be as a Medical Assistant: Proper intake of the patient (history and chief complaint) Documenting during the exam on our EMR system Assisting with Medical Procedures such as removing sutures, administering local anesthetic, and applying patches for allergy testing and transcribing reaction strengths Deliver patient education and documentation on disease, would care, medications, and pathology Reports and diagnosis. Properly conducting Prior authorizations for medications/sending medications to pharmacy as prescribed by Provider Schedule follow up appointments at the end of each exam Responding timely to messages sent by patients to you or the team (24 hours) Ensuring start of day/end of day tasks are completed Completing all duties in accordance with HIPAA and other medical regulations Other duties as assigned Requirements What we look for: EMR experience and fluent in a variety of software packages Graduate of an approved school or at least 1 year of Clinical Medical Assistant experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organization, punctuality, professionalism and a presentable, polished appearance Eagerness to grow and learn with the company The ability to work in a fast pace team environment and being able to adjust to different Provider’s styles and preferences Dedication and compassion to patients and being able to deliver exceptional customer service **Will be required to assist the provider in the Hanover clinic on Monday's and the York Pine-Grove location on Wednesday's** **Salary range of $16.00-$21.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)** **We do not require Certification for our Medical Assistant’s**
