Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring
- Help with front office as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assistant program preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and basic life support techniques
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs and documenting patient information
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support
- Ability to perform medical administrative tasks
