Essential Functions: * Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments. * Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communication changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given. * Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas. * Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration. * Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred License: CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA required. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
