Join a team that values collaboration, growth, and making a real impact in the community. ---------------------------------------- POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support both clinical and administrative functions across our care teams. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting providers and ensuring efficient clinic operations. ---------------------------------------- ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Document patient information accurately in the EHR (EPIC) * Complete intake for new and returning patients * Prepare patients and assist providers during exams * Administer vaccines and perform basic clinical procedures * Draw blood and complete screenings as directed * Participate in daily huddles and support care team coordination * Schedule follow-ups and assist with patient flow * Address barriers to care and support treatment compliance * Maintain clean, stocked, and compliant exam rooms * Process and route tasks in a timely manner * Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory guidelines ---------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent * Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with Diploma * Current BLS certification ---------------------------------------- EXPERIENCE * Minimum of 6 months of Medical Assistant experience or * Currently enrolled in a medical, nursing, or EMT program ---------------------------------------- SKILLS & ABILITIES * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures * Proficient in EHR systems and Microsoft Office * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills ---------------------------------------- JOIN US If you’re ready to grow your career and make a meaningful impact in patient care, apply today and join Tampa Family Health Centers.
