We are seeking to hire an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (Float) for our office in Reisterstown located at 120 Westminster Pike! Shift Hours: Monday - Friday **You must be available to work day shift as early as 8:00am and be available to work a rotating shift between 6:00pm -7:00pm one evening per week. Our ideal candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced, team environment and provide excellent care and service to our patients. Internal Medicine / Primary Care experience of 1-2 years is required. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families. The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of services up to and including: · Assistance during routine exams · Recording a patient history and logging vital signs. · Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results · Entering lab / diagnostic test orders · Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging · Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed. Requirements · High School Diploma or G.E.D. · Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program. · Internal Medicine / Primary Care (Required) · Excellent patient care and customer service skills. · Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently multitask and stay organized · Proficiency in EHR/ computer skills (Nextgen is a plus); CRISP; Cover My Meds · Candidates selected for an interview will be required to take a medical skill assessment.
