We are seeking to add an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to our Specialty Medicine team! Our ideal candidate must be willing to work in a team environment, travel to local offices as needed, and provide excellent care and service to our patients. We have offices located in the following regions of Baltimore County: · Reisterstown - 120 Westminster Pike · Pikesville / Woodholme – 1838 Greene Tree Road · Towson – 515 Fairmount Avenue Shift: Monday – Friday / 7.5 - 8.0 hours per day Hours: Must be available to work as early as 7:00 am and work as late as 5:30pm. The Medical Assistant will work closely with one of our healthcare providers in a multi-specialty setting. Full Time candidates with proven EHR experience will have hands-on responsibilities with patients in a healthcare setting that offers enrichment and an opportunity for growth. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families. The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of services up to and including: Assistance during routine exams Recording a patient history and logging vital signs. Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results Entering lab / diagnostic test orders Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
