QUALIFICATIONS

• At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office with the ability to perform venipunctures is preferred.
• A valid Florida driver’s license is needed for travel to the clinics. -
• A high school diploma or GED is required, and you will be required to produce it at the time of hire.
• BLS is required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within the first 30 days).

• Assist physicians with medical procedures in the office.
• Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance.
