Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: Southeastern Spine Insitute at 1625 Hospital Drive

SUMMARY:

Join our dynamic team at Novant Health’s Surgery Center as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). In this pivotal role, you will provide direct nursing care in a fast-paced medical office environment, collaborating closely with our physicians and healthcare providers. You will play a crucial part in ensuring patients’ comfort and safety while maintaining a clean and organized workspace in line with our high standards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required: High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a physician’s office setting is required.

Responsibilities

Patient Assessment: Assisting &evaluating patient needs and contribute to individualized health plans.
Documentation: Accurately complete all required documentation in the patient’s medical record, adhering to our practice’s charting policies.
Clinical Support: Prepare medical equipment and assist physicians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
Care Coordination: Schedule specialized consultations and coordinate appointments for diagnostic testing as directed by physicians.
Patient Education: Provide patients with information regarding their care and assist in addressing their questions and concerns.
