Description Frontier Sleep and Wellness is a brand new and exciting medical practice focused on diagnosing and managing sleep apnea. Our patients are seen via telemedicine by a Nurse Practitioner and supported through home sleep testing. The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless patient journey from initial diagnosis to ongoing support. Key Responsibilities: • Follow up with patients to support their therapy and encourage treatment completion. • Coordinate referrals to appropriate providers for Treatment. • Monitor and follow up with patients regarding compliance and treatment success. • Schedule patient appointments and collect co-pays in advance of telemedicine visits. • Participate in telemedicine visits to educate and guide patients on next steps. • Collaborate with sleep medicine specialist to ensure continuity and quality of care. • Dispense, track, and monitor Home Sleep Test (HST) devices. • Follow up with patients who have not returned HST devices and assist with troubleshooting. Requirements Medical Assistant certification or 2+ years of clinical administrative experience in a medical setting. Strong communication and follow-up skills with a patient-first mindset. Comfortable working with telemedicine platforms and electronic medical records. Detail-oriented and able to manage tracking and coordination tasks independently. Experience in sleep medicine or pulmonary care is a plus, but not required.
