Description Advanced Pediatric Associates is hiring an experienced Pediatric Medical Assistant seeking a full-time (4-day work week) position. Will be responsible for all medical assistant duties, including, but not limited to: assisting health care providers with examining and treating patients, and maintaining standards of clinical policies and processes. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing administrative and clerical tasks related to the provision of patient care, conducting quality controls, and assisting with supply and vaccine counts. Also responsible for understanding and using EPIC effectively according to APA guidelines. The ideal candidate will be a friendly and positive professional who will be able to perform patient care in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to all procedures and protocols. Will work 4 weekdays (Monday - Friday) at our Parker clinic and an occasional half day on a Saturday at our Centennial, CO clinic. Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, salary commensurate with experience. Benefits: Day Shift Weekends Off (occasionally work up to 4 hours on a Saturday) Evenings Off Paid Time Off (PTO), begins accruing on date of hire Extended Illness Bank (EIB), begins accruing on date of hire Benefits include medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), life insurance, and LTD (based on employee eligibility and classification) Accident insurance, EAP (based on employee eligibility and classification) A professional and family-friendly environment Requirements Qualified candidates must: Have a High school diploma or equivalent Be a graduate of an accredited school of medical assisting Be CPR/BLS certified (or be certified within 30 days of employment) Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA privacy and security guidelines Be able to prioritize duties and meet deadlines Provide proof of vaccination for certain diseases or titers showing immunity: Hep B, Tdap booster, Varicella (Chickenpox), MMR, and the annual Influenza (flu) vaccine.
