MEDICAL ASSISTANT – PEDIATRICS (NO WEEKENDS!)

$18.00–$20.00/hour, depending on experience

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior pediatric or outpatient clinical experience preferred (hospital, urgent care, or clinic).
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or equivalent).
• Skilled in immunizations, labs, and patient care.
• Knowledge of EHR systems (we use Office Practicum; training provided).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A team player who values reliability, fun, empathy, safety, and collaboration.

• Prepare and comfort children during sick and well visits (vitals, vision screening, immunizations, lab work, etc.)
• Perform in-house testing: strep, flu, RSV, COVID, glucose, TB skin test, and more
• Administer vaccines and medications with care and accuracy
• Provide treatments such as nebulizers and pulse oximetry
• Support families with school/health forms and follow-up
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and safe
• Collaborate with providers and teammates to ensure smooth daily flow
