Featuring one board-certified dermatologist, 3 PAs, and a full-time laser and aesthetic physician -- you will be working directly with our providers. Our physicians work closely with, and hire, all employees. We are a close-knit team who pride ourselves in working hard for the benefit of our patients. Job Description Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain medical histories Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist physicians during in-office surgeries, excisions, biopsies, and cosmetic treatments Support patients with medication instructions and guidance Act as a scribe for the provider during visits Work one-on-one with dermatologists and physician assistants Receive comprehensive in-office training Learn to use our electronic medical record (EMR) system Gain additional support through our custom MA training manual Qualifications Job Type: Full-time In-Person (32-36 hours/week) 4 days a week (3-day weekend) 3 days in Lansdowne 1 day in Aldie Experience: Prior medical assisting experience is strongly preferred Completion of a medical assistant training program is helpful, but not required Previous clinical experience with direct patient contact is preferred Background in other healthcare roles is also valued Excellent opportunity for Pre-MD or Pre-PA candidates looking for hands-on experience Education: High school diploma or equivalent Certifications/Licenses: Medical Assisting Certification is preferred Salary Starts at $18.00 hourly and increases with years of experience Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines
