Our thriving dermatology office is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Medical Assistant. In this role, you will be working with patients, assisting the physician, and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate is an energetic, enthusiastic, multitasking person who can work with a variety of personalities, with organizational skills and great attention to detail. Job Description Greet and prepare patients for dermatology exams and treatments. Assist the dermatologist during procedures, exams, and treatments. Perform basic medical tasks, including taking vitals, preparing patient charts, and administering injections. Recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit Manage patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Provide patient education on treatment plans, skin care, and aftercare instructions. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow. Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment. Manage patient check-ins and follow-up calls. Sterilize instruments and manage inventory. Understand HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required. Previous experience in a dermatology or medical office is a plus. Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor.
