Description

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm Essential Functions and Accountabilities: * Assist Physicians with clinical procedures * Follow proper protocols for all procedures * Practice phlebotomy * Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds. * Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol. * Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms. * Maintain clinical supplies inventory. * Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories. * Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review. * Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures. Academic Training: * Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred 1. Studies level: Certification 2. Responsibilities

Assist physicians with clinical procedures and provide hands-on patient care to promote and restore health. Manage clinical supplies, process laboratory specimens, and document ultrasound measurements.
