Medical Assistant (m/f/d) Billing for Outpatient Surgery

Location: Erlangen

Working hours: 38.5 - 38.5 hours per week

As a Medical Assistant (m/f/d) for billing outpatient surgery according to §115 SGB V in full-time.

These are your responsibilities:

- Billing for outpatient surgeries according to the AOP contract pursuant to Section 115 of the German Social Code, Book V (SGB V)

- Knowledge of the EBM (Uniform Assessment Standard) and GOÄ ( German Fee Schedule for Physicians)

- Transcription of medical reports from dictation and handling of correspondence

This is what you bring:

- A vocational qualification as a Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, or Dental Administrative Assistant, completed in Germany or officially recognized in Germany, with experience Experience in billing for outpatient surgeries and at least 2 years of professional experience after graduation

- Alternatively, sound professional experience in billing for outpatient surgeries

- Teamwork and good communication skills

- Flexibility and an independent work style.
