JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a full-time personable, highly organized, and skilled Medical Assistant (MA) to join our dermatology practice. The MA will work closely with providers and the administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient care. This position is ideal for gap-year students looking to pursue a career in healthcare.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or High School Diploma/GED (required)
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical office (preferred)
• Certification in Medical Assistant (preferred)
• Experience in dermatology (preferred)
• Phlebotomy (preferred)
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMRs

  Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week

• Assist healthcare providers with minor procedures.
• Scribe during patient visits.
• Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and surgical procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms prior to visit, clean rooms and instruments.
• Address inquiries and concerns promptly
• Rooming patients, and cleaning rooms after visits.
• Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient record management and coding (ICD).
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
