Position Details Shifts: Flexible scheduling with 12-hour weekday shifts and 8-hour weekend shifts. Employment Type: Full-Time opportunities available. What You’ll Do Patient Care: Escort patients to exam rooms, take medical histories, and record vitals. Clinical Support: Perform lab tests (urinalysis, blood draws, COVID swabs) and administer medications under provider supervision. Administrative Support: Greet patients, answer phones, verify insurance, and manage appointments. Team Collaboration: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment while supporting colleagues to deliver seamless patient care. Requirements Education: Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program is preferred Current certification as a Medical Assistant Current CPR and First Aid certification Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting; experience in Urgent Care is preferred Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients, and families Willingness to take initiative and responsibility for actions Open to constructive criticism and feedback when necessary Provide exceptional customer service to patients and third-party vendors Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and instruments Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team Competence with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office. Excellent customer service skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
