We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and make a meaningful impact on patient care. As the MA/LPN, you will play a key role in supporting the clinical and administrative functions of our practice. You’ll be responsible for assisting our healthcare providers with patient care, managing patient records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities: Greet and check in patients, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history. Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician or other healthcare provider. Manage patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Manage patient flow and handle patient inquiries. Perform administrative tasks such as filing and maintaining office supplies. Qualifications Medical Assistant certification or LPN license required. Previous experience as an MA/LPN. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Knowledge of medical terminology, psychiatric diagnoses, and medications. Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR. As a healthcare provider, Southeast Healthcare is a non-smoking employer.
