Description Full-Time • Monday–Friday Schedule • West Knoxville (Hardin Valley) UT Primary Care Hardin Valley is seeking enthusiastic and qualified applicants for a full-time Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our patient-centered primary care team. Daily responsibilities include: Assisting providers with patient care Rooming patients and obtaining vitals Performing point-of-care testing Assisting with minor procedures Coordinating scheduling and prior authorizations Obtaining pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs Communicating test results Building strong, professional relationships with physicians, teammates, patients, and families Requirements Strong communication and time-management skills Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior clinical experience (CNA, CMA, MA, or LPN) is a plus Previous medical office experience is helpful
Responsibilities
The role involves close collaboration with providers to ensure compassionate patient experiences, including assisting with patient care, rooming patients, and obtaining vital signs. Daily tasks also cover performing point-of-care testing, assisting with minor procedures, and coordinating scheduling and prior authorizations.
