Learn About a Day in the Life of an MA: Responsibilities The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider. Qualifications Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge. BLS Certification required within 14 days of start. Preferred Job Requirements: Associate’s degree. Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program. Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care
