Position Summary The Medical Assistant (MA) / Patient Access Representative provides clinical and administrative support in our outpatient clinics on an as-needed basis. This role requires professionalism, initiative, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. In this dual role, the MA/Patient Access Representative will: Assist providers during patient visits as needed Obtain and record vital signs Perform basic laboratory functions within scope of practice Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) Work independently while maintaining integrity, efficiency, and attention to detail Perform patient registration and related access functions Deliver exceptional customer service to meet and exceed patient expectations Support safe, high-quality care and contribute to overall patient satisfaction Why Join Newberry Health?
