Description Personalcare Registered Professional Nursing P.C. is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Medical Assistant (MA) to work full-time on the day shift or evening shift in the Medical Department at the Monroe County Jail located in Rochester, NY. Available Shift: PT Day (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), FT Eve (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks such as medical records request, administrative reports, Continuity of Care (COC) release, and other medical duties including but not limited to: · Maintaining examination and treatment areas · Verification of medications and medical information · Maintain medication records · Answer telephone and processing calls · Maintain filing system and confidentiality of information at all times · Provide full administrative and clerical support to the medical department at the facility to include typing of various reports, letters and memorandum · Data Entry · Scanning documents into the computer · Assisting with the credentialing process of new hires · Maintain staff log · Schedule transports · Assist with billing Full Job Description: http://www.primecaremedical.com/wp-content/uploads/JD.NY-Medical-Assistant.pdf Salary Description: $17.00 / Hour base rate plus shift differentials up to $8.00 / Hour Benefits: PrimeCare believes in offering a competitive compensation and benefits package to their employees.
