Our team is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all patients and staff. ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a key role in patient care and clinical operations, ensuring that every patient receives respectful, high-quality service. Your responsibilities will include: CLINICAL SUPPORT * Room patients, record vitals, conduct screenings, and reconcile charts. * Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. * Draw blood, perform point-of-care testing, and process lab specimens. * Administer vaccines, injections, and medications; provide patient education on their use. * Perform EKGs, ear lavage, and other ordered procedures. * Maintain sterilization of instruments and ensure exam rooms are stocked and sanitized. * Monitor and document vaccine supply and equipment quality assurance. * Chaperone sensitive exams as requested. ADMINISTRATIVE & CARE COORDINATION * Support providers with prescription refills and pharmacy communications. * Conduct outreach via phone, portal, or mail for follow-up care, lab results, and preventive screenings. * Track and manage lab/radiology orders and overdue appointments. * Accurately maintain patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). * Support policy development, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives.
