JOB DESCRIPTION: MEDICAL ASSISTANT  POSITION: MEDICAL ASSISTANT We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Assistant to add to our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, with experience in nephrology being a plus.  RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist healthcare providers with patient care * Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records * Take patient vitals and record medical history * Provide support to patients and their families * Assist with scheduling patient appointments * Learn insurances and requirements * Take detailed patient messages for providers to address concerns  REQUIREMENTS: * Detail-oriented with strong communication skills * Experience in nephrology is a plus * Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
