Description Medical Assistant Full-time (40 hrs/week), Medical Assistant position available at a regional medical oncology practice. We are looking for a caring and highly motivated team player for our Manchester location to support the infusion room. Duties include but are not limited to: obtaining and documenting vital signs; directing patients arriving to infusion room; assisting patients with ambulation as needed; monitoring and discarding of full chemo buckets, monitoring and replacing of linens; restocking of infusion/nursing supplies, etc..... Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED, have completed either an MA or LNA program and should have at least one year of experience as an MA/LNA in an ambulatory or acute setting. Location: Manchester Hours: Mon-Friday, 730am-4pm or 8am to 430pm Requirements EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED. Completion of a nursing assistant certification program, (CNA) or medical assistant program. Experience preferred but not required. College coursework preferred. One year of experience in an ambulatory or acute care setting preferred. Two years of experience in an ambulatory or acute care setting and/or national phlebotomy certification Obtains and maintains BLS certification through nationally accredited agency/facility. Excellent computer skills
Responsibilities
