Full Time Day - Mon-Fri Good Sam Butler County Infusion Physician Visit Job Overview: This position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts, and prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. The position will be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care; work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation and commitment to quality patient care. This position’s tasks include patient related duties, medical record maintenance/documentation, and safety/environmental duties. Job Requirements: High School Degree Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) EKG  Injections  Venipuncture  Performance of common lab tests according to establish CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy Up to 1 year experience in a physician office or related setting Job Responsibilities: Provides support to physicians/clinical staff. Skillfully performs/obtains tests and specimens assuring proper departmental procedures are followed Performs technical skills according to hospital's and department's policies/procedures, appropriate competencies, and accepted standards of practice. Maintains a high level of efficiency, organization, and time management skills to promote efficiency in the Medical Center. Shows the ability to function successfully with minimal supervision. Demonstrates strong written, verbal and phone skills. Demonstrates courtesy, respect toward patients, professionals, and team members. Notifies appropriate team members of abnormal test results or emergent situations Accurately documents patient care in chart, maintains confidentiality of patient records and files appropriate documentation in patient chart Accurately and safely maintains general appearance and cleanliness of exam rooms, supply areas, and nurses station.
