Join our nationwide multidisciplinary team of providers! We are looking for Medical Assistants to work during a USSS hiring event. This is a great opportunity to pick up flexible, well-compensated shifts in a fast-paced & high-volume setting. This is a quarterly event and will be taking place apprx every 3 months. Join our pool of event staff! ROLE: Supporting medical staff in performing clinical duties during readiness exams. Tasks include but not limited to phlebotomy, point of care testing, EKG, PFT, vital signs, visual acuity testing. EVENT DATES: THURSDAY 5/14 - TUESDAY 5/19. Event to occur on a quarterly basis yearround. SHIFTS: Thursday 5/14 training in the afternoon. Exams run Friday 5/15-Tuesday 5/19, 6:00am-6:00pm. FLEXIBILITY: APPLICANTS DO NOT HAVE TO BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL EVENT DAYS, BUT MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR FULL 12-HOUR SHIFT ON COMMITTED DAY(S). COMPENSATION: $28/HR + $100 per diem. #ZR Requirements Requirements for the Position: Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program. Experience and competency with phlebotomy, point of care testing, EKG, PFT, vitals signs, visual acuity testing. Must pass a basic background check (no security clearance required).
