Description Newbridge Spine & Pain Center seeks a Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant/Surgical Tech whose primary work location will be our Waldorf office, with required coverage at our Prince Frederick location as well. Duties include: Escorting patients to rooms, checking vitals, and updating medical history in the EMR system. Assisting providers in the procedure room from proper sterile setup to operating a C-ARM. Collecting urine, completing records. Requirements Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of clinical office/surgery center experience. MUST HAVE EMR EXPERIENCE (ATHENA Preferred). The candidate must have excellent patient communication skills Certification as a Medical Assistant is not required but strongly preferred. BLS certification required. Ambulatory Surgery Center protocol knowledge is preferred, but not required. Exposure to Procedure Room experience highly preferred. Must be a team player with a positive attitude, willingness to take initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
