We are seeking two full-time Medical Assistants MA to join our OB/Gyn department at Physician Building 3. Schedule: Monday - Friday, no evenings or weekends The Medical Assistants MA will: Welcome patients and prepare them for their health care visit Complete intake assessments including medical history and vital signs Assist during procedures Monitor, document, and administer medications and immunizations Perform phlebotomy and point of care laboratory testing Manage and prioritize patient portal (MyChart) and telephone communications Participate in and support patient education Coordinate ongoing care including referrals and prescriptions Play an essential role in fulfilling our mission Heighten the patient experience by providing extraordinary care Benefits offered: Health insurance Dental and vision insurance Life insurance Paid vacation Holiday Pay Sick pay 401(k) + match Accident, Critical Illness, and Disability insurance Employee assistance program Minimum Requirements of the Medical Assistant MA position: Completion of Certified/Registered Medical Assistant program (must become certified within 6 month of hire) medical assistant experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer knowledge and proficiency The successful Medical Assistant candidate will be subject to a background check.
