Description SUMMARY: Performing all back-office duties. Maintain confidentiality of patient’s information, maintain work area and exam rooms, maintain professional appearance and conduct. #OA DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Assist Physician in clinic with minor procedures and PRP Procedures. · Perform all back-office duties, including rooming and taking patient histories. Applying and removing dressings, sutures, and staples. · Applying and removing cast, splints and DME. · Preparing patients for surgery and post-operative care. · Drawing blood. · Ordering test, DME and Injections. · Scheduling surgeries. · Charting and phone triage. · Maintain confidentiality of patient’s information. · Maintain work area and exam rooms. · Maintain a professional appearance and conduct. · Adhere to OSHA Standards. · Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: · Prior Orthopedic experience or training is helpful but not required. · High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Certificates, licenses, and registrations required: CMA, CCMA, NCRMA, ROT, OTC · Computer skills required: Basic computer knowledge and EMR experience. · Other skills helpful but not required: casting, splinting and brace knowledge.
