Company Description Our busy dermatology practice is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant or Gap Year Student! We are looking for a friendly, motivated team player who is willing and able to learn and be a member of an awesome team. Job Description Room Patients, triage, obtain/document medical history and chief complaint in EMR Document Allergies and Medications and Obtain Informed consent from patients Scribe and assist provider during exams and procedures Assist skin cancer surgeries, medical procedures and cosmetic procedures Prescription management Patient call backs with pathology results/Schedule excisions Prior Authorizations and Biologics Clean and restock exam rooms/assist with inventory Sterilize Instruments Assist with any administrative duties such as answering the phone, patient questions and scheduling Qualifications 1+ year(s) of Medical Assistant experience (Required) EMR experience (Required) Dermatology experience (Preferred) Mohs experience a ++++ Willing to explore potential future PA candidates needing clinical hours for a gap year.
