Responsibilities * Prepares patients by reviewing patient medical history and taking vitals * Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the Physician * Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures * Draw blood, take specimens, and prepare for lab testing * Perform in-office point-of-care testing * Document patient information utilizing electronic medical records * Assists in scheduling patient appointments * Follow the guidelines of HIPAA in maintaining patient confidentiality * Perform additional administrative duties and projects as needed Requirements & Skills * License(s): Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking * Medical Office Experience preferred * EMR knowledge preferred * Experience completing prior authorizations preferred Employment Details * Part-time, 2 days per week * Must be flexible with hours * Logansport, IN * Practice Website: https://www.unityhc.com/practice/cass-employer-clinic/ Unity Healthcare, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer
