Description Rocky Top ENT & Allergy is seeking a full-time experienced, well qualified Medical Assistant Float who must be a team player and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will be expected to be flexible in their daily assignment and float from different positions depending on staffing needs for the day. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Flexible Schedule: 40-hour work week scheduled between 5 shifts per week Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance, Critical Illness, FSA, HSA with Employer Contribution Retirement: 401(k) with company matching and immediate vesting PTO: PTO, Sick, Bereavement Leave Support: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with confidential support when you need it for counseling, legal and financial support. Job Description: Greet patients and assist with patient requests upon arrival to clinic Obtain and record demographic, insurance and financial information Accurately records patient history, complete patient vitals, retrieves basic condition of patient and reports to appropriate practitioner. Assists provider with examination, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care, such as: subq and IM injections, in office surgery, collect and record various laboratory tests. Assist Doctor with multiple in office procedures. SALARY DESCRIPTION: Dependent on experience and certifications Requirements Four (5) 8-hour shifts Reliable transportation This Position will require working in our Oak Ridge Office 2-3 days a week Willingness to travel to Oak Ridge and Crossville office Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Outstanding customer service skills Education/Experience: Requirement of GED or High School Diploma 1+ year experience in healthcare facility is preferred Completion of Medical Assistant program, registered/certified (RMA/CMA) or 2+ years’ experience working in medical office
