Locations: Wheaton Pediatrics – Wheaton 1725 S Naperville Rd STE 100, Wheaton, IL 60189 Wheaton Pediatrics – Batavia 725 W Fabyan Pkwy Unit B, Batavia, IL 60510 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs vitals, rooms patients and gathers specimens. Documents necessary information in the EMR. Collects specimens, performs in-office lab testing and prepares specimens for outside labs. Assists with in-office patient procedures per protocol and training. Contributes to the daily upkeep of office space and equipment. Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values. ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs cleaning and disinfection of instruments and equipment based on practice protocol. Performs digital health workflows and initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, performing vitals, and gathering specimens while documenting information in the EMR. They also assist with in-office procedures and maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the clinical space.
